Hokkaido

Hokkaido is the island north of Honshu (the main and big island of Japan). In Hokkaido you find the city of Sapporo.... where they have the snow festival every year... its AWESOME.


The first evening we took a trip to the Sapporo Brewery



Me and Kay were reunited!
I can't properly convey how snowy it was!


The next day it was on to the Chocolate Factory. For someone who doesn't like chocolate- I thought it was delicious!



I had the best hot (white) chocolate of my life!

We went to a bar with 300 choices of beer that was run by a guy from Hollywood. Go figure.


That evening we went to a cajun restaurant for our friend Cheryl (a kiwi)'s birthday. Really good food!

At night everything was lit up!


The following evening we went to Otaru, where they has famous lanterns and candles along the riverfront. It was beautiful.
