Its a big city with all the modern benefits. There were a ton of malls to shop in. Western malls too. Here is a window exhibit of a big store, Uniqlo....
The Jazz Festival is annual and over 2000 acts perform down one street (Johzenji). Its huge!
One day I stopped by a flea market. I got this hat for $2 from this Harajuko girl!
Nick and I started the crowd dancing and it made the lead singer of "the skankin heads" really happy....
Nick climbed some of the epic trees...

The last day (Monday- a holiday) we were in Sendai we took the loop bus and saw an awesome temple and some castle ruins. The trees outside the temple were amazing.
This totally reminded me of Marie.... a japanese beauty and the beast!!!
