Obon Festival

They asked the ALTs (Asst language teachers) in KK to dress up (Girls in summer kimono called Yukata and boys in Hapi (happy) coats) and dance in the Obon festival- where everyone dances around a large drum and singing float in a giant rotating circle.

Started out with a big party where they fed us to the limit:

It started to rain!


Still raining... this guy wouldnt stop following me around and asking me questions about if i liked music and dancing.... sheesh!


The head boss guy who looks like tweety bird and doesn't speak any English but is awesome!
