British Hills

Every beer on tap here is asahi, kirin or heartland.... to cure this we decided to trust Hiroshi to take us to this magical place called "British Hills".... he said it was a proper British pub....

So we embark on this 2 and a half hour trip into the mountains... at the end the lane is barely big enough to fit one car and we are in gravel and havent seen another vehicle in about 30 minutes...

Its so foggy that Hiroshi cant see the road and I'm about to protest that we should turn back when... from out of the fog....

(appropriately displayed by Faye, the only resident brit with us)

hmm.....

Wow.... I cant believe this exists!

Hurray!

Fish and Chips?? Game on!

Faye decided to teach me to eat "properly" (fork remaining in the left hand to eat)... i didn't catch on...

Taking pics in the fog:

Nick found a giant beetle on the way out and i held it!

And yes... we got home safely!

Hey,

It's very nice commenting on such a beautiful group of friends I am much honored. I like how they all were enjoying together. It is completely an adventurous place.

Yes, the left hand thing! Because I was raised in a European house, I was always taught to eat with the fork only in the left hand. And then I started going to high society stuff and it took me ages to realize that, in the U.S., people are actually taught to switch the fork over.

Philistines.
