Mon 3/21 [post getting gasoline nap]

Last night Brian, Rich and I went to our friend Julian's house for dinner.

Julian, his wife Junko and their son Taiyo were gracious enough to host and feed us from their garden. DELICIOUS food was had.

We brought over our Xbox game, Rock Band. We rocked for hours!

We played until Taiyo went to bed and then sat around talking for a while. It was nice to be around more calm collected people who also chose to remain in Aizu after the quake.

Super fun, too.

Brian translated that "radiation certificate" we got the other day when we were tested.
Here it is [click to enlarge]:

Translation:

STRICKEN AREA RESIDENT CHECK FORM

NAME [MALE/FEMALE]

DATE OF BIRTH

CURRENT ADDRESS

PHONE NUMBER

LOCATION AT TIME OF DISASTER

INJURY OR ILLNESS?

CONTAMINATION LEVEL: ZERO DATE OF ISSUE:

In short, no radiation... no worries!
