School Festivals...

Every year my students perform in their school festival. It is the equivalent of the annual school-wide Christmas musical, except there is no theme. Each class is responsible for a skit [ranging anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes, depending on school size] and the skits can be anything at all the desire to do. This years highlights included an eating / drinking contest, The story of the whale clouds, a story about school bullies and the samurai who defeats them and mini rendition of Broadway's The Lion King [holy crap! Amazing!!!] Each of my 4 schools has one, although this video is a compilation of the 3 I was invited to....

I compiled a video of the highlights.
I usually encourage you to watch all of the videos, but I feel free to skip thru this if you want... the Lion King bit is a must see.

In other news, they turned the heaters on at school.... which is fortunate because it started flurrying at one point today.
