My summer vacation:
Went to a German Festival in Koriyama:

Participated in the Annual Obon Dance again this year [followed by karaoke in my yukata/kimono]:
Went to Himeiji to visit Kay [we had a Tennessee Party]:
Went to the Osaka Aquarium with my friend Lisa:
Lisa let me crash at her place and even made me a romantic dinner on her balcony!

My kids participated in the English Skit and Speech Competitions.... all of them [2 groups and 3 individuals] made it to state. go team!
I had everyone over to my house for Mexican food, sang more karaoke, played Capture the Flag and went to the lake:
I went to Sendai for the annual Jazz Festival [where I danced and met up with Jeremy Deaton]:
And Japanese classes started again.... an excuse for a potluck party. My team won the foreign word challenge [like telephone only with cantonese, japanese, english, filipino and thai words]. My potluck item? Fried Okra. Very popular! :
